It’s been another strong few months for Out of Home.
New figures from Outsmart show that UK OOH advertising revenues reached £402.6m in Q2 2026, up 12.7% compared with the same period last year.
Digital Out of Home continues to lead the way, with DOOH revenue growing 14.6%, while Classic OOH also saw a healthy 8.8% increase. Digital now accounts for 68% of total OOH revenue.
And it’s not just one good quarter. Across the first half of 2026, the industry has grown 13.7% compared with H1 2025, showing continued confidence from brands investing in the medium.
For us at Route Media, it’s great to see. As our own network continues to grow across Wales and beyond, we’re seeing first-hand how brands are using OOH to become part of people’s everyday journeys.
Dean Jones, Sales & Marketing Director at Route Media, said:
“It’s brilliant to see another strong quarter for Out of Home. We know how powerful the right location and creative can be, and these figures show brands continue to recognise that too. As the OOH landscape evolves, particularly digitally, there are more opportunities than ever for brands to be seen in the moments that matter.”
From roadside screens and city centres to rail and transport environments, OOH continues to do what it does best: put brands in front of people while they’re out living their lives.
And with two consecutive quarters of strong growth behind us, the momentum certainly isn’t slowing down.
