Route Media has been recognised at the 10th Cardiff Business Awards, winning Digital Business of the Year at the 2024 Cardiff Business Awards.
Alongside 18 other winners, Route Media took home the title, after demonstrating outstanding contributions to the digital sector, having achieved remarkable growth and financial success.
The Cardiff Business Awards were created to showcase Cardiff’s standout businesses and the impressive potential thriving within Wales’ capital city.
Hosted by broadcaster Jamie Owen, the awards ceremony, which took place at the Mercure Holland House Hotel Cardiff, brought together incredible companies and individuals from every corner of Cardiff, each one demonstrating the highest standards of business achievement.
The ceremony saw finalists from across all sectors in the City compete for 18 awards in a variety of categories, ranging from Financial & Professional Service Business of the Year to Young Business Person of the Year.
Route Media is a leading provider of outdoor media solutions in the UK, specialising in out-of-home advertising. Their diverse portfolio includes engaging and dynamic content displayed on LED screens, digital vans, bikes, and walking billboards. Route Media strategically targets high-traffic areas such as roadside, retail, rail and leisure locations to effectively reach and captivate audiences. With a focus on raising brand profiles and driving audience interest, Route Media delivers impactful advertising solutions that make a lasting impression.
Having recently won the Transport for Wales contract, Route Media have inherited 700 new sites, becoming the new Official Sales Partner. As a result, digital and static media is now on display at stations, roads and bridges in towns and cities across the country. The partnership has created new employment opportunities in Cardiff, providing Welsh businesses access to promote to passengers on a hyper-local level.
