Following a historic year for the senior international teams and their clubs, Hockey Wales aims to continue to promote diversity and tackle inequality by increasing opportunities for young people.

The partnership with Route Media will provide the Governing Body with an increase in out of home advertising that will enable them to raise awareness of the sport, its athletes, and key events over the next 12 months.

A busy summer lies ahead for the nation’s hockey teams as both the senior women and men play in the European Championships in the Czech Republic and Germany, respectively. While the nation’s best young talent at under 18 take on their European counterparts on home soil at the European Championships in Swansea.

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th Wales U18 Boys will take on Switzerland at the National Hockey Centre, Cardiff.

Saturday 24th June Wales Men will take on Scotland at the National Hockey Centre, Cardiff.

Saturday 8th to 15th July – European U18s Tournament. Swansea Bay Sports Park, Swansea University.

More fixtures will be announced in the coming weeks.
